Dear GMOCO Family,
We are thrilled to announce the first event of the year! GMOCO Holi Mela 2023 will be held on Saturday, April 8 at the Westerville Central High School. Following our tradition, the event will include performances (dances and skits) that promote our culture, shopping booths from a variety of vendors, and mouth-watering eats.
In addition, we are bringing a new program this year - Gujarati Competition. Itâs an effort to promote the Gujarati language and increase awareness of Gujarati culture, history, norms, values, traditions, and food. The program consists of four categories â Public Speaking (āŠĩāŠāŦāŠĪāŦāŠĪāŦāŠĩ ), Essay (āŠĻāŠŋāŠŽāŠāŠ§), Art (āŠāŠŋāŠĪāŦāŠ°), and Know Your Gujarat Quiz (āŠŠāŦāŠ°āŠķāŦāŠĻāŠūāŠĩāŠēāŠŋ) in four age groups.
